EXODUS - Déjà Vu

Exodus-Déjà Vu is Visioncy’s ongoing non-profit project. It is a touring photographic exhibition, presenting the works of twelve awarded photojournalists and photographers who have closely followed and captured the perilous journey of refugees around the world.

The photographs of Coskun Aral (TUR), Issa Touma (SYR), Roland Neveu (FRA), Sergey Ponomarev (RUS), Rahman Roslan (MYS), Yalda Moayeri (IRN), Fabiola Ferrero (VEN), Guillermo Arias (MEX), Jean Chung (KOR), Suthep Kritsanavarin (THA) and Atilgan Özdil (TUR) are thus exhibited with the desire to trigger discussions and reflections on ongoing refugee crises.

Refugee crises everywhere around the world have grown to become a global issue. We are witnessing an increasing number of refugees, as well as feelings of distress and fear around the world.

Exodus Déjà-Vu thus aims to offer a greater understanding on current situations. Indeed, the purpose of this project is to create constructive dialogues based on photographs representing the harsh reality that millions of people are experiencing. The name of our project, ‘Déjà-Vu’, refers to the dreadful fact that this situation is not a new one and has been repeating itself through recent history.

The project encompasses the realization of an exhibition, the publication of a book, the implementation of talks and conferences between members of the public and special guests, and the creation of educative workshops.

Exodus Déjà Vu is currently travelling the world to raise global awareness and defend human rights.
