The Innovation Center is focused on the welfare of the producers and aims to develop them. Therefore, the center will focus on the improvement of the productions but also of the working conditions. The goal is to help coffee producers to produce better in an eco-responsible environment. The center will also offer a marketing structure to revalue the work and the quality product that Flores offers. Can be regarded as the “voice of coffee smallholders of Flores”, the Kafe de Flores will also be mandated to represent its members at the government level, within the coordination bodies of the Indonesian coffee supply chain at domestic and international levels, and for all activities related to coffee. The cooperative will be involved in several projects to strengthen the entire Flores coffee supply chain.
